Commercial Construction

Once Again, With Feeling! (And Brunch)

We’ve had two major commercial construction projects at the location of the new Turning Point Restaurant in Lancaster, PA.

First, in 2017, EGStoltzfus Commercial Construction worked with owner Jeff Roth of Roth Hospitality to build another Fuddruckers restaurant (one of several Jeff has owned).

But the pandemic intervened. Tastes changed. And Jeff recently decided to go with a new dining concept for the site, located at 100 Rohrerstown Road in the Lime Spring Square shopping center.

A breakfast/brunch offering, he thought, would be a better fit with the East Hempfield Township location.

So he decided to build a new Turning Point Restaurant, making it part of a 25-plus-location “homestyle country” franchise serving the mid-Atlantic States. And he chose EGStoltzfus to do the work.

We started by demolishing our old handiwork, the Fuddruckers building. Then we went to work, finishing the project on an ambitious schedule.

Happy with the way things turned out, Jeff is already working with the EGS team on another Turning Point, this time in Camp Hill.

“It was an obvious evolution for me to choose them,” he said.

Over the years, Jeff has worked with EGS on eight projects, including multiple Fuddruckers franchises, a TCBY Yogurt, a Popeye’s Chicken, and a Tikka Shack Indian Grub in Hershey.

“There’s a reason why I haven’t used any other contractors,” Jeff said. “They get the job done. They get it right.”

Plus, there’s great chemistry.

“The comfort level that I have makes the difference,” he said. And he’s looking forward to doing many more with EGS.
